The three chiropractors in our practice work together very effectively. We hold weekly meetings to make sure everybody is up to date. During vacations or training sessions of one of the chiropractors, your treatment can always be continued by one of our other chiropractors.
Erik Stegeman D.C.
After finishing his physiotherapy degree, Erik Stegeman worked in a health centre in Zoetermeer. During that time, he completed courses in sports physiotherapy and manual physiotherapy. He has treated many sportsmen and women, some of them top athletes, in the Netherlands’ first Nederlandse Sport Medisch Adviescentrum (SMA – Dutch Medical Sport Advisory Centre).
After working at the SMA for five years, Erik Stegeman decided to further specialise in the treatment of spinal column problems. This led him to studying chiropractic at the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in Bournemouth, England, between 1983 and 1987. He then returned to the Netherlands and settled in The Hague. He started to work as a chiropractor for the Nederlands Dans Theater. Since then he has accompanied the dance company on a number of their international tours as its medical advisors. At the clinic, Erik Stegeman treats a variety of patients including the artists and the staff of different theater companies, orchestras and conservatories.
