Fit summer legs
The beautiful spring weather invites you to stay outside a lot. Unfortunately, there are also inconveniences associated with outside activities. One in four women suffer from heavy or tired legs but you can do something about it.

Here are some tips:
1. Do 10 minutes on your back with your legs up against the wall.
2. Make  bicycle movements in the air.
3. Sit on a chair, alternately lift your toes and heels as high as possible.
4. Tie a rubber band around your ankles. Lie down on your back with legs straight up. Spread the legs as you keep tension on the rubber band.

The rhythmic contraction and relaxation of muscles causes the veins to  'squeeze' and the blood to go to the heart. This type of pumping activity works best on your muscles when maintained for at least 30 minutes. Not only is the duration of movement important, but the regularity as well. A half hour per day is better than two hours once a week.
